Animation is a big industry worth 30.5 billion Indian rupee and the topmost industry veterans were felicitated at the 3rd Ann Awards presented by Animation Xpress India. Amongst various contenders, One Take Media Co won 3 prestigious awards in the top animation categories. OTMC continues to maintain their winning spree of the previous two years in a row.

Animation Xpress Ann awards are India's first premium set of awards dedicated to excellence in the field of animation in the subcontinent where the best in the animation industry are recognized and honoured.

OTMC won the Licensing and Merchandising category with their popular animation series ‘Bablu Dablu Monster Plan’ as the Best Licensed Animated Character Programme. ‘Billa Jasoos’ won the Best Licensed Animated Series Programme while ‘Bablu Dablu The Adventures 2’ won the Best Syndicated Content, under the Special category. Interestingly, the Bablu Dablu series that has been creating waves was also nominated under the Best 3D Animated shows.

Bablu Dablu is a fun filled comedy animated series based out in a wooded wonderland and follows their adventures along with Lakkha, a wicked logger who wants to transform the forest into his own personal lumberyard. Billa Jasoos is about a detective cat, who helps people solve problems in a small town. The series follows this smart cat’s unique ways of solving everyday issues and becoming the local hero.
